Maybach Foundation Honors Edward Norton and
Hosts Celebrity Gaming Night
At this year’s Cannes Film Festival, the Wilhelm & Karl Maybach Foundation and the Sunflower Children Foundation hosted a celebrity gaming night to raise money for their charitable projects. The glamorous Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc (Cap d'Antibes) opened its doors to V.I.P.s of film, business, fashion and sports.

A High-Society Rendezvous: Sporting Excellence, Elegant Luxury Cars and Extraordinary Philanthropy
The Maybach luxury automobile brand has once again been part of the Polo World Cup on Snow in St. Moritz, the most prestigious winter polo tournament worldwide. From January 29 to February 1, 2009, the traditional winter polo event united exclusive sporting action with savoir vivre accented by extraordinary luxury automobiles in a class of their own.

Foundation Protégé Photographers Document the Rebuilding of the WTC
January's opening reception for “From the Ground on Up” at the New York Academy of Art spread enthusiasm for the World Trade Center Documentary Arts Project, which aims to capture the rebuilding of the site through documentary photography and film. The exhibition served as a culminating experience for the first phase of the project and featured the first two protégés, Benjamin Jarosch and Marika Asatiani, along with their mentor at the site, Joe Woolhead.

Cannes 2008
The Maybach Foundation returned to the Cannes Film Festival in 2008, with special honoree and speaker Dennis Hopper, who has since become a Foundation Honorary Board member.
Tiffany Reception at Milken Conference 2008
Tiffany & Co hosted an invitation-only reception honoring the Maybach Family Foundation's Excellence in Mentoring Leadership program in conjunction with the Milken Global Conference.
Cartier Polo World Cup on Snow 2008
Strategic partner Daimler AG's Maybach Brand hosted a talk on the foundation's work for special guests at the Cartier Polo World Cup on Snow in St. Moritz, Switzerland for the third year running.
Cannes 2007
MF hosted a luncheon reception in honor of musician Quincy Jones at the Cannes Film Festival in 2007.
Milken 2007
MF co-sponsored the Milken Global Conference in 2007.
