Biography of Patricia S. Brody

Ms. Brody’s legal practice focused on the resolution of complex commercial disputes, through litigation, arbitration, bankruptcy and alternative dispute resolution involving business institutions (their officers, directors, appraisers, and other professionals), real estate secured transactions, workouts and related disputes. She also emphasizes employment litigation and general business and commercial litigation, including securities, real estate and land use. She has been listed as a Northern California Superlawyer. She is also a licensed real estate broker.
Ms. Brody has been interested and active in the nonprofit arena throughout her personal and professional life. Recently she has been active in the Bay Area American Red Cross as both a trained disaster relief volunteer and an active fundraiser and co-chair of major auction events. She has also been affiliated with Children’s Hospital of Oakland Research Institute (CHORI).
She is most pleased to now be affiliated with the Wilhelm & Karl Maybach Foundation and to help pursue its mission to provide extraordinarily talented young adults who are facing adversity the opportunity to mentor with global leaders to make a profound and positive difference in their lives and the lives of others.
